The Festival

Fabjan, Barbara

Barbara considers Cortina her second home. For many years, she has come here to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and support the Dino Ciani Festival.

Barbara is an art historian at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage in Rome and has worked with the Cultural Heritage Departments of Milan and Rome, for which she led high-profile restorations, from Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper” to the “Certosa di Pavia”, and from the “Salone” of the “Corazzieri” to the “Palazzo del Quirinale”, as well as masterpieces by Pinturicchio and Bernini in the “Chiesa di S. Maria del Popolo” in Rome. She has also managed once managed the photographic archive of the Cultural Heritage Department of Rome.

Barbara has led the curation of various local museums, organized numerous exhibitions, including the successful “Dama con l’ermellino” at the Quirinale, participated in various conferences, and authored many publications.
