Cortina d’Ampezzo
July 25-August 8, 2009
Cortina d’Ampezzo is considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful mountain resorts. The goal of the Dino Ciani Academy is to give our young artists the opportunity to develop their art, work on repertoire, live and breathe in a musical environment, and perform with top musicians at an international festival.
The Dino Ciani Academy, founded this year, will run throughout the Dino Ciani Festival in Cortina d’Ampezzo from July 25 to August 8, 2009 and will bring together young pianists, professors, musicologists and performers. The students will attend master classes and have free entry to all the concerts and conferences of the festival. They will also have the opportunity to perform in the Young Artists Concert Series organized just for them, as part of the Festival program. These will be held both in Cortina and in the surrounding towns.
